2nd PETER 3:3-4 (3) knowing this first that there shall come in the last days SCOFFERS walking after their oun lusts? (4) and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

2nd PETER 2:9 (9) the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgement to be punished.

JAMES 1:12 (12) BLESSED is the man that endureth temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

DANIEL 9:9:10 (9) To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against him, (10) neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
